André Regnier

For over three decades, André Regnier has been a pivotal figure in the new evangelization. As co-founder of Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) alongside his wife, Angèle, André has spent 36 years inspiring university students and Catholics worldwide to embrace their faith. A theologian with a Master of Arts and the author of books like Catholic Missionary Identity and Clear and Simple, André has dedicated his life to helping others understand the profound beauty of faith.

André’s commitment to the Church has been recognized globally, including the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal, awarded to him and Angèle by Pope Francis in 2015. Yet, amid his efforts to activate missionary cultures in parishes and dioceses, he noticed a recurring challenge: while many longed to deepen their prayer life, they often struggled with where to begin.

This realization planted the seed for André’s Learn to Pray course. In his years of ministry, André found that most people’s difficulty with prayer wasn’t due to a lack of faith or desire—it was simply not knowing how. Prayer often felt mechanical or obligatory, disconnected from its true purpose as a relational encounter with God.

André envisioned a solution: a clear, practical framework that would guide individuals to see prayer as more than a ritual, but as a heartfelt dialogue with God. Learn to Pray was born out of this vision. The course demystifies prayer by addressing common struggles—distractions, busyness, and doubt—while introducing transformative strategies for building a meaningful connection with God.

In this course, André walks participants through foundational elements of prayer:

Greeting God: Becoming aware of His presence and inviting Him into prayer.

Honesty: Sharing openly with God, making room for authentic relationship.

Worship: Entering into God’s presence, allowing praise to transform and deepen the experience of prayer.

Scripture: Listening to God’s voice through His Word.

Resolution: Letting prayer shape daily life and decisions.
