Bobby & Katie Fredericksen

Meet Bobby and Katie Fredericksen, The Catholic Couple, on a mission to spread the love of Jesus by normalizing Catholicism.  Married 13 years with two beautiful children, Bobby and Katie have a passion for sharing the Catholic faith. Bobby's transformative journey began with  just a simple invitation to a Midnight Mass that ignited his passion for Catholicism, leading him through RCIA and a Lay Leadership program at USML at Mundelein. 

Meanwhile, Katie, a cradle Catholic, found her faith come alive as Bobby's interest in the faith increased and God’s impact on his life began to be apparent. Katie was an elementary school teacher who then became a High School theology educator.  During the pandemic, they launched a podcast and social media pages and began to share their faith to a wider community. Katie also took a principal position at a Catholic Elementary school and is now finishing her third year there.  They have been blessed to have found a vibrant parish community focused on disciple-making and lead a connect group of over 20 people, meeting in homes to grow and connect with other Catholics.  

Bobby leads Ascent Men’s group,  which is a group that combines prayer, fellowship, and working out together and also co-hosts the Purposely Catholic Podcast and YouTube channel.
