I was raised Catholic, but during my youth, the faith was more of a background noise than a guiding light in my life. The rituals and traditions were part of my routine, yet my heart wasn't fully in it.
When I went off to college, I drifted even further from my faith. My life was filled with the typical distractions of youth, and although I continued to attend Sunday mass, it was solely out of habit.
But life has a funny way of redirecting us. I met someone, a Protestant, whose faith was vibrant and challenging. Our discussions were not just conversations; they were debates that pushed me to question what I believed and why. This relationship was the catalyst that led me into the world of apologetics, where I began to defend and understand my faith like never before.
This newfound passion took me to seminary, but quickly, I discerned that my path lay elsewhere. Unsure of the next step, I moved to Arizona in search of something—or someone—I couldn't quite define.
That's when I met her, the love of my life. Within six weeks, I knew she was the one I wanted to spend my life with. I proposed, and she said yes, setting us on a journey of marriage that has been nothing short of miraculous.
Now, married with two beautiful kids, I look back and see the thread of the Rosary woven through my life. Each bead, each prayer, has been a grace, guiding me through every twist and turn. Today, I work as an apologist, sharing the faith I once took for granted, with a passion born from personal experience.
My story is one of wandering and returning, of questioning and finding answers. It's a testament to how the Rosary can lead us home, no matter how far we've strayed.
