Christine Merriman

I have been singing my whole life and writing songs since the days of MySpace. I never felt the need to pursue music professionally because I didn’t think I was good enough, especially after having my first son. Although I always had a knack for songwriting, life moved on, and it became a distant dream.

Then the pandemic hit in 2020. As a former First Communion Coordinator, I wanted to do something creative and helpful for my program. I wrote my first song for kids, “Good Morning Offering,” and was inspired to share it on social media. This led to the creation of my YouTube channel, “Christine In Action,” and the posting of my first video. The inspiration was flowing so much, I was writing songs like crazy. It just came to me so naturally. People began sharing my songs and videos organically, and I soon realized I was reaching and helping more people than I had ever imagined.

Maintaining my ministry while working full-time as a wife and mother has been challenging over the years. Sometimes I wish I had a team to help me, but it’s incredibly special to witness the fruits of all my labor—seeing people sing along, sharing their testimonies, and supporting my mission. I am by no means an expert at any of this, but it’s amazing to think that I create everything you see and hear from start to finish, all by God’s grace and for His glory!

This ministry is a culmination of all that I am and have experienced in life; it is truly an extension of my heart. It’s incredible how God uses me as His “literal” instrument to evangelize in the world. With 60 songs in my catalog so far, I will continue this work as long as God wills it. I feel like I’m just getting started.
